EDCHC is a primary care center that serves El Dorado County and provides a full range of family practice services. The center's focus is to provide exceptional health care for every age. 



Meet the Chief Executive Officer 


Ms. Stratton has a Masters Degree in Public Health with over 25 years of experience in health care delivery and community public health. Ms. Stratton has held management positions with state and local governments. Prior to coming to EDCHC in January 2014, Ms. Stratton was a senior manager with the California Department of Health Care Services where she oversaw program implementation and policy development related to California’s Medi-Cal program. Additionally, she served on loan to the California Health Benefit Exchange to build their marketing team prior to the launch of open enrollment in 2013. Ms. Stratton also has management experience at El Dorado County Department of Health and the California Department of Public Health. Ms. Stratton is a graduate of the California State Executive Leadership Academy and has served on numerous boards and committees.

We accept most private insurances, Medi-Cal, Medicare, CoveredCA, the under-insured, and those without insurance. The services in our center also include patient advocacy, pharmacy program with patient assistance program for medications, dental, podiatry, behavioral health, and referrals to collaborative organizations within the community. EDCHC is a Federally Qualified Health Center 501(c)(3) and served over 13,000 patients in 2020. This health center receives some HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
