Caleb Sandford brings nearly 10 years of healthcare management experience to EDCHC as the new CEO. After starting his career at Genesis Health System, a large integrated hospital system in Iowa, Caleb joined the California community health movement, working for Clinica Sierra Vista in Kern County, and most recently at Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center in Alameda County where he was responsible for the operational success of the organization and for improving access to health services for the community.  He has successfully led initiatives in telehealth, empanelment, patient communications, and team-based care.

Caleb was recognized in 2019 as a NACHC Geiger-Gibson Emerging Leader, and has presented at multiple regional and national conferences on topics of practice transformation and healthcare leadership.

Originally from Missoula, Montana, Caleb graduated from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, California, and received a Master of Business Administration from Brigham Young University.
